Nigeria is on the march again towards 2023 general elections, for the purpose of electing a new president, new members of the national and state houses of assembly, among other elective offices.

We encourage all Nigerians, irrespective of their political affiliations, tribe, or religion, to put their hands on the proverbial deck to ensure that the forthcoming 2023 general elections in Nigeria are held without friction or rancour.

We, the publishers of this blog, in Delta State, have unflinchingly resolved to perform our own personal and civic responsibilities towards making sure that only the credible and responsible candidates are elected into government offices in our own domain (Delta State, Nigeria), in 2023.

The task of ensuring and making sure that only the credible and responsible candidates are elected into offices cannot be done successfully by us alone without the contribution of other Deltans.

It was on that note that we decided to establish this blog, Deltans Vote PDP 2023.

Deltans Vote PDP 2023 was established for five different, but related reasons.

One, to express our unalloyed support for Governor Okowa’s continued transformation of Delta State, as well as to pray for the right replacement for the governor in 2023, so that the present achievements of the governor and his government would be sustained, and even surpassed by the incoming governor.

Two, to confirm our unalloyed support for the People’s Democratic Party, PDP, our party on whose platform our Governor Okowa was able to transform Delta State.

Three, to provide a free level-playing field for Deltans who will be vying for different elective positions into government offices in Delta State in 2023, to market themselves and their manifestos to other Deltans.

Four, to provide free support and publicity for Delta State PDP candidates who will be contesting against other candidates from other political parties in 2023.

And Five, to provide a free platform for Deltans who may not be vying for elective positions in government offices, but who wish to contribute meaningfully to the success of Delta State PDP candidates who will be vying for elective positions into different government offices in Delta State, come 2023.

We are, therefore, calling on all Deltans to support our governor, Senator (Dr.) Arthur Ifeanyi Okowa and his government’s continued transformation of Delta State, and pray for them to finish strong while praying and looking forward to a replacement that would continue to give Deltans joy and peace of mind.
